When did you start working at IT Resource? January 15, 2018

Tell us something your colleagues don't know about you. I used to own a dog bakery out of my home and was a certified dog massage practitioner.

What's the most interesting job you've ever had that was not IT related? I worked for a pharmaceutical company as their dermatology National Trainer. We had a skin care line that we sold to physicians and in the retail channel. At one point, we had our line on QVC and I had to train the QVC hosts how to sell our products. A very interesting perspective on how they present products on-air.

What was the last book you read? The New Gold Standard: 5 Leadership Principles for Creating a Legendary Customer Experience (Courtesy of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co.) I am currently reading Strengths Based Leadership – Great Leaders, Teams and Why People Follow.

What's one thing you can't live without? Family and friends – they are my life line. Also, my dog, Stella. It's amazing how a pet can help keep your sanity and comfort you all the time.

What's your favorite movie of all time? The Devil Wears Prada, first, the wardrobe is amazing, and I covet the actresses’ closets! I think recently, while watching it, I looked at it from a different angle; the aspects of maintaining personal integrity, courage to go after what you are passionate about. But still, the clothes are pretty amazing.

What's the best place you've ever travelled to? The Canary Islands, just a beautiful area. My husband and I took an excursion to a dormant volcano on the island where they filmed the original Planet of the Apes and The Ten Commandments.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received? Do what you love and the rest will come. It is true. Be passionate about your work. If you have lost the passion for what you do, move on.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? When I was really young, I wanted to be the Fox photo booth person. I have no idea why.  I must have thought it would be cool to work in that small booth and collect film to be developed. Other than that, I thought that I wanted to be a lawyer for quite some time. Not sure what changed my mind.
