What certifications do you hold? I have my BBA in Computer Information Systems, along with various Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Veeam, and Datto certifications.
When did you start working at IT Resource? September, 2016
Tell us something your colleagues don't know about you. I’ve been at ITR for so long now that I don’t think there is much my colleagues don’t know about me. One thing I keep close to the vest is that I like to write jokes in my spare time. I’m big into comedy!
What's the most interesting job you've ever had that was not IT related? It’s a toss-up between in-home cooking shows and selling suits/tuxes.
What was the last book you read? I’m more of a movie buff than I am a book reader. I try to make it to the movies once a week or so! The last movie I saw worthy of discussion would probably be The Lighthouse.. if you know you know.
What's one thing you have to have every day? My old answer was coffee, my new answer is... coffee and exercise.
If you could meet one famous person, dead or alive, who would it be? I’d like to meet Leonardo da Vinci and watch him freak out about how far modern technology has come.
What's your favorite movie of all time? My current favorite is Parasite. I think it’s one of the best to come out in recent years. But I like all kinds. One way to get me talking is to ask about film.
What's the best place you've ever travelled to? It’s a lame answer but I had a really great time in Chicago recently. I like how busy the city is, how it’s full of life and history, and how it’s just close enough to make a weekend trip out of it.
What do you consider to be your greatest success or proudest moment in life so far? My dog Kuma has made me very proud as a dog-parent. My friends and family love him to death. He stopped a home invasion some years back, and he plays dead when I karate chop him. He’s a real treasure. I’m looking to get him a sibling soon!
What's the best piece of advice you've ever received? Don’t ever do anything you aren’t willing to explain to the paramedics.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? When I was younger, I didn’t really spend too much time worrying about what I wanted to do when I grew up. I went through different phases, I wanted to be the world’s best skateboarder, I wanted to be a video game designer, a musician, and many other things.
